Well, the good news is I didn't have to worry about losing any bait or getting my hands dirty. The bad news is I didn't get a bite. I moved a sunfish around the culvert and the surrounding area for maybe an hour. Nothing! There were several people on the dam, the type that show up once in a while, but nothing was going on. The Skunk fell about three feet today, about two and a half feet since eight o'clock this morning. All I can hope for is the river to stabilize during the next week and maybe, just maybe things will pick up next weekend. I said maybe!
